Kappa Shokudo

Kappa Shokudo is a Japanese restaurant in Yufuin that serves home-style set meals, fried chicken, and hirekatsu. The chicken breast toriten and hirekatsu come with side dishes and miso soup. The sign and maps list an 11:30 AM opening, but the restaurant actually opens around 11:00, and a customer who started waiting at 10:45 was seated in the first round. At lunchtime the wait can run about 40 minutes.
