Kinrinko Lake in Yufuin is a small lake where hot spring water and fresh water rise together. Morning mist and evening golden light are its signature scenes. The circumference is about 400 meters, so a full loop takes little time, and between 5:30 and 7 a.m. it can be viewed relatively quietly. In the afternoon, group tourists crowd in and it becomes busy.
