Wondae Gutang is a cod soup restaurant in a narrow alley near Exit 14 of Samgakji Station in Yongsan, Seoul. Its clear soup and maeuntang contain cod flesh, milt and roe, and the meal ends with fried rice. The restaurant has operated since 1977 and was listed as Seoul Future Heritage in 2019, with waits of about 15 minutes at lunch. As a restaurant inside an alley, seating is tight and food smells can cling to clothing.
