Namyeongdon

Namyeongdon is a charcoal pork barbecue restaurant in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, serving gabrisal, pork jowl, samgyeopsal (pork belly), and pork collar. Its signature gabrisal and pork jowl are thick cuts grilled over white charcoal to pick up smoke, and staff cook them from start to finish. Waiting times run about 30 minutes for arrivals around 4:20 p.m. and about one hour for arrivals around 3 p.m., and kimchi stew is served as well. Ventilation inside is poor, so meals are eaten in smoke.
