Jinmi Sikdang

Jinmi Sikdang is a small baekban restaurant in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, a seven-minute walk from Exit 9 of Samgakji Station. It serves cheonggukjang made with Munkyeong beans, thick kongguksu, and spicy ojingeo bokkeum with a charred flavor. The restaurant opened in 1978, and the cheonggukjang and ojingeo bokkeum come with rice, gimgaru, and a large bowl for mixing together. Takeout kongguksu lets you choose noodles and broth separately. The space is small, so a wait forms at lunch.
