Gimai

Gimai is a restaurant in Yongsan, Seoul, that serves grilled freshwater eel and eel soup. Its signature dish, Gimai eel, is a whole 600g eel grilled in-house and served with a salt, house-made wasabi, and soy sauce sauce and a poached egg. Staff grill the eel and bring it to the table, and ordering Gimai includes an eel show and photo time, with charcoal grilling possible at individual tables. The dining room is on the noisy side.
