Gamasot Yeomsoyori (Goat Cauldron Dish)

Gamasot Yeomso Yori is a long-standing restaurant in an alley near Samgakji Station, housed in a converted home in Hangang-ro-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. It serves yeomso-tang, jeongol, and suyuk. The yeomso-tang has a clear broth with the fat skimmed off several times, and the jeongol has a strong perilla seed aroma and doenjang base. The suyuk is tender and the muchim has little of the distinctive goat smell, and the owner takes pride in the ingredients and attends to customers carefully; goat dishes are divisive and the seasoning is on the mild side.
