Daewon Restaurant

Daewon Sikdang is an old Korean restaurant near the War Memorial, a three-minute walk from Samgakji Station Exit 13, serving grilled fish baekban and duruchigi. The grilled fish set meal features mackerel grilled over a charcoal briquette fire until crisp outside and moist inside, served with side dishes and nurungji. A grandmother grills the mackerel to order over the briquette fire, and the set meal includes one piece of grilled fish. The single piece of fish makes the meal expensive for its portion size.
