Bongsanjip

Bongsanjip is an old restaurant in Samgakji that grills beef, mainly chadolbagi, over charcoal. Its representative menu items are chadolbagi and doenjang jjigae, and a sauce made with cabbage, gochujang, scallions, and chili peppers is served as a side dish. At 6:30 p.m. on a weekday, two parties were waiting, and after taking off your shoes, you grill at the central seat once the charcoal heats up. The tables are pushed together, so the space feels cramped.
