Baekgyeong Sikdang is an old Korean restaurant on Yongnidan-gil near Samgakji Station, serving baekban at lunch and samgyeopsal (pork belly) at dinner. Its signature dish is kkomak muchim, a spicy-sweet seasoned cockle dish piled with onion, scallion and carrot, served in portions large enough to fill a spoon. On Friday nights after 8 p.m. there can be a wait of about 10 minutes, and the gopchang jeongol comes with plenty of gopchang in a clear, light broth. The samgyeopsal is ordinary except when eaten with the kkomak muchim.
