Highlights of life

Insaengui Highlight is a retro bar in the alleys of Dongbu Ichon-dong in Seoul that serves strong handmade highballs with simple anju. The food includes monkfish, nogari, and tofu salad, and music videos and songs from the 1970s through the 1990s play on an old brown-tube TV. It opens at 6 p.m., a line forms from 15 minutes before opening, and the seats fill up around 7 p.m. There is no restroom.
