Kiyasu Sohonpo

Kiyasu Sohonpo is a Japanese confectionery next to Juso Station in Osaka that sells mitarashi dango as its main item. The signature dango comes with a lightly sweetened soy sauce that is more salty than sweet, grilled over direct flame for a slightly charred aroma, and hanabota mochi is served alongside it. The dango is grilled over a gas flame to order, and customers choose from four levels of grilling. Seating in front of the shop is small, and the mochi is soft and yielding rather than chewy.
