Maha-sa is an old Buddhist temple near Hwangnyeong-san in Busan. Records state that it was founded in the 5th century by Ado Hwasang, and the Daeungjeon hall retains its door lattice, interior wood carvings, and paintings. Yeonje-gu village bus number 2 requires checking the direction before boarding, and after getting off at the stop you walk a short way up a slope. The slope is steep, so reaching the temple takes some physical effort.
