Dongsamdong Shell Mound Exhibition Hall

Dongsamdong Shell Midden Exhibition Hall displays Neolithic shell midden remains. It sits at the start of the long embankment in Dongsamdong, Yeongdo, on the road down to Yeongdo Maritime University. The hall shows comb-pattern pottery, bone and antler tools, ornaments, and shell masks, and visitors can touch some of the artifacts. The site is a nationally designated historic site and the oldest Neolithic site found in the southern region, with parking for only two or three cars in front of the building.
