Cheonghak Baesuji Observatory sits on a hillside in Cheonghak-dong, overlooking Busan Port and Bukhang Bridge. During the day it offers views of the sea, and in the evening the lit nightscape of Busan Port Bridge. At the end of the observatory is a farmer statue commemorating sweet potato cultivation on Yeongdo, along with exercise equipment. There is no parking lot near the observatory, making access inconvenient.
