Pyongyang Gwan is a North Korean-style restaurant in the basement of a commercial building on the east side of Yeouido, Seoul, serving naengmyeon, mandu, and yangji suyuk. The buckwheat noodles are milled in-house and pressed on a millstone noodle machine, and the broth is deep with meat flavor. Bean sprout and cucumber salads come as basic side dishes, and half plates of mandu and yangji suyuk can be ordered. The naengmyeon and mandu are seasoned on the salty side.
