Instant Udon Jjajang

In Seoul's Singil-dong, Jjeuksok Udong Jjajang is a 24-hour noodle shop that serves udong and old-style jjajangmyeon. The udong comes in a clean broth drawn from dried shrimp, and the jjajangmyeon uses noodles pulled fresh in-house, smooth and chewy. After ordering, you take some kkakdugi and danmuji while you wait, and the noodles are machine-pulled and served quickly; customers come in even at 3 a.m. The shop is small and parking is difficult.
