Gyodong Tea Garden

Gyodong Dawon is a traditional tea house in an alley of Jeonju Hanok Village, serving hwangcha with dasik such as yakgwa, yanggaeng, and tteok. The hwangcha, the house's main tea, is brewed from tea leaves steeped several times and can be paired with yanggaeng that carries a sweet pumpkin aroma. The owner refills hot water from a thermos and explains how to choose and brew the tea. There are many floor seats, which become uncomfortable after sitting for a long time, and the table-and-chair room is in a separate building.
