Memorial Tower

Hyeonchungtap is a memorial tower at the entrance of the Metasequoia Park in Ulsan Grand Park. It honors Korean War dead, independence activists, and patriotic martyrs, and enshrines the memorial tablets of Ulsan-born figures. On the first morning of each month, members of a bereaved families' association hold a memorial visit. A free museum sits in the base inside the tower, and the surrounding area is quiet.
