Kyoto Ohashi Kobo is a workshop in Kyoto that sells handmade chopsticks made from Kyoto bamboo and various woods. Staff explain the differences in weight and shape between materials, and customers try them before choosing. A 2018 purchase of ebony chopsticks was sent in for servicing in July 2025 and returned in August. Alongside chopsticks, the shop also sells medaka and native Japanese aquatic plants.
