Cafe Hassui is a cafe inside the Suiran hotel in Arashiyama, Kyoto, serving Japanese tea and desserts. Its signature item is Hisuimochi, a jade-colored rice cake made with green tea from Ippodo, and afternoon tea is also available on a terrace facing the river. The space is a Japanese traditional house over 100 years old that has been converted into a cafe. The cafe entrance is hard to find, and visitors must first enter through the hotel entrance.
