Yako Ressha

Yako Ressha is a Japanese-style bar in the Ameyoko shopping street under the JR overpass, between Ueno Station and Okachimachi Station in Tokyo. It serves Japanese sake with dishes such as crab omelet, horse meat sashimi, and fugu tofu hot pot. The bar originally served drinks to passengers of night trains departing from Ueno Station, and it still has a narrow layout with only counter seats. Smoking is allowed and the seats are close together, so cigarette smoke is strong.
