Pearl Lady

Pearl Lady is a bubble tea shop inside Ikebukuro Station in Tokyo, next to the Tobu Tojo Line ticket gates. It sells drinks such as mango pomelo, matcha milk, and honey oolong tea with aiyu jelly, and customers choose sweetness, ice amount, and tapioca type and quantity. Mornings, around midday, and late at night are relatively quiet, and even with a line the queue moves fast enough that a purchase can take about five minutes. From afternoon into the evening, students crowd in and the wait can reach a line of nearly 20 to 30 people.
