Torishiki

Torishiki serves yakitori and sits a two-minute walk from Meguro Station's east exit. The restaurant grills skewers one at a time over charcoal to keep the smoke aroma and moisture, serving them in order until the diner says to stop. It is open from 17:00 to 23:00, and counter seats look onto the skewers being grilled in succession. Phone reservations are hard to secure, requiring hundreds of calls.
