Tenoji is a freshwater eel restaurant in the basement dining area of the Otemachi Building, directly connected to Otemachi Station. It serves unadon, unaju, and hitsumabushi, grilling the eel crisp on the outside and soft inside, with a light sauce that is not heavily seasoned. At lunch, a reservation means sitting without waiting, but the room fills before noon and a line forms after 11:30. Meals can be noisy from loud voices at neighboring tables or from staff.
