Kanda Okame (Japanese Izakaya)

Kanda Okame is an izakaya in Kanda that serves Yamagata-style soba, sake, and side dishes, about a four-minute walk from Kanda Station. Its main dish is Yamagata meat soba, thick and firm noodles with parent chicken and broth, ordered either cold or warm. On a weekday at noon the seats were almost full, with five two-person tables, one six-person table, and five counter seats, and egg rice comes free. The broth is on the salty side.
