Kanmidokoro Irie is a Japanese confectionery in Tokyo, a two-minute walk from Monzennakacho Station. It serves mamekan, made with red peas from Furano in Hokkaido boiled for eight hours and served with agar and black sugar syrup, along with anmitsu. Open since 1970, it takes names on a waiting board inside the shop, and takeout orders are available. On weekends and holidays the wait runs about 10 to 20 minutes.
