Hope Ken Honpo

Hope Ken Kichijoji is a Tokyo-style tonkotsu shoyu ramen shop about five minutes north of JR Kichijoji Station along Sunroad. The chuka soba combines a pork bone broth with back fat, and thin curly noodles can be topped with bean sprouts, chashu and garlic. Founded in 1935, the shop has only counter seats and a ticket machine on the left side of the entrance. The thin, soft noodles divide opinion.
