Hibiya Matsumotoro is a restaurant founded in 1903 inside Hibiya Park, serving Japanese-style Western dishes such as omurice, hayashi rice, and beef curry. A big plate combines omurice with crab cream croquettes, and hayashi rice and beef curry are also on offer. It is about a five-minute walk from Exit B2 of Kasumigaseki Station, and at around 11:30 a party waited about ten minutes without a waiting list before being seated on the terrace. The food tastes ordinary, and the hayashi rice and curry can come across as salty.
