Cafe Mugi is a five-minute walk from Tsukiji Market in Tokyo and serves a breakfast set with 18 side dishes, along with desserts and tea. In the morning the meal comes with white rice porridge instead of rice, and in the afternoon the cafe offers dango desserts, matcha strawberry tea, and red bean tea. Guests with reservations enter from 8 a.m. before those without, and early bookers are assigned window seats. By 9:30 a.m. the 18 side dishes sell out, and other menu items can take over an hour to arrive.
