Kooriya Peace

Kooriya Peace is a small cafe a four-minute walk from the park exit of Kichijoji Station, serving Japanese-style shaved ice that changes with the season. Its menu includes pistachio, strawberry and melon shaved ice, made with soft ice and topped with fruit and jelly. At the entrance, customers write their preferred time and name in a register at four-minute intervals before being seated, and orders usually arrive within five minutes. The shop has only counter seats, so it is hard for a group to sit together.
