SHISHAPOND

SHISHAPOND is a shisha bar in Kichijoji, Tokyo, a one-minute walk from the north exit of Kichijoji Station, occupying the first and second floors above ground plus a basement level. Staff ask about your preferences and adjust the flavour without a printed flavour menu, and the shisha uses a semi-baked method with dark leaf. The second floor has sunlight through the windows and a mix of single seats and tables, and the shisha charcoal is changed or adjusted during the session. The entrance is hard to see, so it is difficult to find at first.
