Ueno Green Salon

Ueno Green Salon is a cafeteria-style cafe at the edge of Ueno Park, a two-to-three minute walk from the park exit of Ueno Station. It serves pasta, pizza, omurice and curry, with coffee alongside the meal items, plus panda-shaped curry and panda desserts. Seating is self-service: you take a table first, order at the counter, receive a pager and collect the food yourself, and the dining area holds about 100 seats. On weekend lunchtimes the ordering line runs 20 to 40 minutes, which is inconvenient if your meal time is tight.
