Kissa Nikai

Kissa Nikai is a retro cafe in Yanaka, Tokyo, a 9-minute walk from Nippori Station, located on the second floor of the tableware shop kokonn. Its signature drink is the Nikai Cream Soda, made with pale-blue ramune soda topped with French yogurt-flavored ice cream, and the French toast comes with a choice of four ice cream flavors. Orders on the second floor, where record music plays, follow a one-drink minimum, and the first floor sells tableware by artists. On weekends the cafe is crowded and has a one-hour time limit.
