Cafe Katsura

Cafe Katsura is an old-style kissaten that opened around 1967, on the way to Ueno Station. It serves napolitan, omelet sandwiches, French toast and Guatemalan coffee, and sandwiches are made by choosing two of vegetables, ham, cheese, tuna or omelet. Combo menus come with a salad or a drink, and older Japanese locals have been coming since the morning. The toilet is the old squat style rather than a Western-style toilet.
