Local Local is a cafe in the alleys near Zhongshan Station in Taipei that serves sourdough brunch and coffee. Its sourdough is fermented at low temperature for 72 hours and topped with smoked salmon and soft-boiled egg, and cocktails are served after 6 p.m. Orders and payment are made at the counter, at least one drink per person is required, and reservations are recommended on weekends. Seating is closely spaced and the music is loud, which makes quiet conversation difficult.
