UOHARU is a sushi restaurant a 10 to 15 minute walk from Taipei 101 that serves sushi and omakase using fish caught in Taiwan. It varies its nigiri, including tuna, sweet shrimp and smoked bonito, with charcoal or aged miso, and the menu also includes cherry shrimp pot rice and seafood rice bowls. Seating is limited to 10 counter seats, so reservations are required, and lunch takes a little over an hour, though the kitchen can prepare it faster if you say in advance that you are in a hurry. The portions are small, so they are not enough for a filling meal.
