The Jade Lounge

The Jade Lounge sits on the first floor of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Taipei and serves English-style afternoon tea and beef noodles. Its three-tier tray holds five savoury items, five desserts and two scones, with a range of teas. During limited-time brand collaborations the lounge gives out gifts such as perfume or cosmetics samples, and on birthdays it provides a small cake. The scones have a texture closer to ordinary bread than to English scones.
