San Fen Ban Haixian Guowu is a hot pot restaurant in an alley in Xinyi District, Taipei, where diners boil seafood such as raw oysters, scallops and large clams along with meat. Its signature three-and-a-half-minute seafood hot pot lets each table choose up to two broths from original, mala, milk and miso, then adds raw-grade oysters, scallops and large clams. A sign listing cooking times for each ingredient and a sand timer are provided, and black tea, green tea, Meiji ice cream and a dessert of the day are unlimited. The restaurant allows pets and serves plain broth and rice separately for dogs.
