Saimen Tempura

Saimen Tempura is a Chinese restaurant in Wanhua District, Taipei City, a seven-minute walk from Ximen Station. It serves Taiwanese-style fish cakes, fish cake soup, and puddings. The fish cakes are made from fish paste, giving them a chewy texture that does not soften easily. The black bean pudding and tofu pudding are served cold, and while the fish cakes and broth are fine, the portions are small and not enough for a full meal.
