Laopai Hujiaobing is a street stall selling pork pepper buns next to Jintianmei in Ximending. The thin, crisp bun holds pork and scallions seasoned in a Taiwanese style and baked with a slight sweetness. The buns come out hot with juices that can burn your mouth on the first bite, and as they cool the juices soak into the bread. The spice aroma is strong, so it is better to skip this if you have a sensitive stomach.
