Richu Shougong Xiaolongbao is a dumpling shop in a restaurant row near the Linjiang Street Tourist Night Market in Taipei's Da'an District. It makes hand-formed xiaolongbao and dumplings to order, filling thin, chewy wrappers with pork and broth and steaming them on site, typically served with house-fried spicy doubanjiang. The shop opens at 6:30 a.m. and in the evening only during meal hours, and calling ahead to order is recommended. Its xiaolongbao have a texture closer to steamed dumplings than to typical xiaolongbao.
