Nanmen Xian Dong is a family-run Japanese restaurant in Taipei that serves raw fish over rice, sushi, and grilled and fried dishes. Its signature items include a grilled seafood rice bowl and mentaiko rolled omelette, and the raw fish is cut thick rather than in thin slices. Rice bowls come with a large miso soup containing plenty of seafood, and rice and soup can be refilled for free. The space is small and the tables are folding tables.
