enishi

Enishi is a shop in the alleys of Dunhua South Road in Taipei that serves Japanese-style ramen and tsukemen, a few minutes' walk from Xinyi Anhe Station. A Japanese couple runs it, making whole-wheat noodles by hand and pairing them with a seafood and tonkotsu broth, and in summer it also offers yuzu naengmyeon. Reservations can be made by phone, and there is a restroom inside the shop. Seating is hard to get without waiting during the popular evening hours.
