Co Hai Sai Gon Vietnamese is a small shop on one side of a small park in the Shida Road alley in Taipei, selling banh mi, Vietnamese pho, and fresh spring rolls. The banh mi uses crisp toasted bread filled with pork liver pate, pork, cucumber, pickled radish, cilantro, and fresh chili. The grilled meat pho is served with the sauce and peanuts on the side, takes almost no time to prepare, and payment is made by customers putting cash directly into a cash box. Indoor seating is limited, so the space is hot in summer.
