Meijing Hongyou Chaoshou is an old Chinese noodle shop selling hongyou chaoshou and dan dan noodles in the basement food court of Dinghao Mingdian Cheng in Taipei's Daan District. The chili oil wontons have a chewy wrapper with a light mala aroma and are not spicy, while the dan dan noodles carry strong peanut and huajiao notes. The interior has only bar seating, accepts cash only, and takeout can be ordered immediately without waiting in line. Portions of both the wontons and the dan dan noodles are small.
