Taipei City Hall

Taipei City Hall is a city government building reached directly from City Hall Station, and Taipei 101 can be seen from the Civic Plaza in front of it. The large plaza and wide pedestrian area sit among surrounding high-rise buildings and greenery. An underground passage on the second basement level connects City Hall Station Exit 2 with Uni-President Department Store and the Uni-President International Building, continuing to the Xinyi commercial district. On October 10, a flag-raising ceremony, music performances, and a market are held in the Civic Plaza.
