Hotel PaPa Whale is in Taipei's Wanhua District, within walking distance of Ximen Station and the Ximending shopping area. Breakfast is a one-person shabu-shabu setup where diners add ingredients to the pot themselves. The lobby has a distinctive interior, while the guest room area is laid out in a square shape that makes rooms hard to find and the corridors are narrow. Rooms either have no window or face the corridor, so ventilation is difficult.
