Yishao

Yishao is a takeout shop in Taipei's Xinyi District that sells cold-brewed yogurt. Fermentation times of 8, 24, and 48 hours set the thickness, and the 48-hour product is as dense as cheese spread and is eaten with blueberry jam and nuts. It is a 14-minute walk from Xiangshan Station Exit 2, and takeout orders are the main business aside from two semi-outdoor bar seats. Adding fruit and jam leaves the sourness in place, so expecting sweetness will disappoint.
