ShangShang Coffee is a cafe in Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, across the alley from Zhongshan Hall, serving coffee, Russian-style borscht, and toast. Its signature item is a set of beef Russian-style borscht and garlic bread, with the soup made from tomato and beef broth plus beef brisket, carrot, potato, onion, and cabbage. The cafe opened in 1978 and has second-floor seating, and it operates only until 5 p.m. The space is small and the seats are close together.
